Woodyhyde Campsite in Corfe Castle
An introduction to Woodyhyde Campsite in Corfe Castle
Family site with Swanage Steam Railway adjacent, ideal base for walking, diving, cycling or just relaxing.
Woodyhyde Campsite is set in the heart of the beautiful Purbeck countryside, on the edge of the Jurassic coastline. Our campsite is a large 13 acre rural site spread across 3 separate fields. There are no marked pitches creating a relaxed, spacious feel which gives freedom to our visitors to pitch wherever they prefer. Dogs are very welcome on two of the camping fields, but not in field 3. Unfortunately the campsite does not accept caravans.
The location of our campsite makes it suitable for all types of holidays or weekends away. There are footpaths leading directly to the Purbeck Hills and the coastal paths on the outstanding Jurassic Coast. For a less strenuous day the beautiful award winning beaches of Swanage and Studland are not very far away.
The Isle of Purbeck is designated as a "World Heritage Site" for its Jurassic Coast, recognized as one of the world’s most geologically important places on the planet, and also rated as an area of "out-standing natural beauty".
The Swanage steam railway also runs adjacent to the campsite and is a great sight to see puffing along its way along the tracks to Corfe or Swanage.
On site we have all the necessary facilities to ensure you have a comfortable and pleasant stay.
The Toilet Block on site has 8 showers, 15 toilets, 18 hand basins, a separate sink for washing up and a chemical disposal point.
We also have 8 Electric hook up points on site.
We have a shop that is open twice daily and it stocks most of the items that you will need. A range of general supplies, equipment for your camping needs, Gas bottle ex-change and ice pack hire. We also stock food and equipment for a Bar-b-Q.

Via the Studland ferry, follow the road into Swanage and then head towards Corfe Castle on the A351, approx 4 miles outside Swanage.
