For ideas on where to go during your stay, you may want to take inspiration from some of the pictures and photos of Pembrokeshire places which decorate the walls of Ty-Mor and which showcase just a few of the many excellent beaches and attractions that this idyllic part of Wales has to offer.
The Pembrokeshire Coastal footpath can be picked up from either end of Broad Haven beach and is the perfect way to explore the rugged and meandering coastline including the nearby beaches and coves of Druidston, Newgale and Nolton Haven. Let the 'Puffin Shuttle' bus take the strain if walking all the way is too much effort or take off by road to explore further afield - perhaps a visit to St David's Cathedral in the north of the county or Pembroke Castle, birthplace of Henry VII, to the south. Animal-mad children (and adults!) would appreciate a trip to Folly Farm or Manor Park in Tenby and for the thrill-seeking try Oakwood Theme Park with its many rides and rollercoaster. Take a boat trip to one of the islands - Skomer, Skokholm, Grassholm and Ramsey - to see the Puffins or Caldey Island off the coast of Tenby with its monastery and perfumery.
For those who simply want to park up and relax, Broad Haven itself has much to offer. Go fishing or try a spot of kayaking on the beach or take a walk through Haroldston Woods at the north end of the village. Have a wander around Broad Haven's very own little nature trail with pond and picnic area or, if you want a change of scenery altogether, take a short stroll across the beach at low tide to the neighbouring cove of Little Haven with its own shop, pubs, restaurants and art gallery. Whatever your preference, you will find your perfect holiday in Pembrokeshire.
