Tring Local History Museum

FREE ADMISSION. A fascinating look into the history of Tring.

Tring is a small market town lying beneath the Chiltern Hills escarpment. Its origins are very old, as it lies at the meeting of two ancient Roman trading routes, the Icknield Way and Akeman Street.

TRING LOCAL HISTORY MUSEUM reflects all aspects of life in and around Tring from the earliest days until the recent past, and records events, objects and the people who lived there.

Please visit the Tring Local History Museum website.

It is situated in the centre of the town, easily accessible with the ‘Forge’ car park adjacent.

There can’t be many small towns with two museums, the other one is the Natural History Museum. Why not include them both when you visit Tring?
