Alan and Sarah Townsend would like to offer you a warm welcome and a pleasant stay at either of their cottages - The Stables or The Barn.
The finest walks are upon the doorstep. Within minutes you can be alongside the fleet lagoon and Chesil Beach, and the popular seaside resort of Weymouth being just three miles away.
Both cottages are situated behind electric gates and within the grounds of its owner's accommodation Tidmoor Farmhouse. We are very proud to say that both cottages have been awarded four stars by Quality in Tourism Accreditation. The barn also boast a M1 and M2 grading in the National Accessible Scheme. (M1 being typically suitable for a person with sufficient mobility to climb a flight of steps but would benefit from fixtures and fittings to aid balance. M2 being typically suitable for a person with restricted walking ability and for those that may need to use a wheelchair some of the time and can negotiate a maximum of three steps.
Both cottages are gas central heated and all power is included in the rent as too is the bed linen. Towels are not provided although they can be for a small charge. We have a travel cot and high chair available at no extra charge. We have a non-smoking policy; however there are ashtrays provide within the courtyard area for those wishing to smoke. We also have a no pet's policy. Sorry! Outside there is a courtyard area mainly used for parking. There is parking for one car per unit although alternative parking can be found for extra cars or boat trailers. This would be by prior arrangement.
Arrivals should be between 4.00pm and 6.00pm, departures before 10.00am. We do offer early arrivals for those wishing to off load their luggage and collect keys between 11.00 am and 4.00pm. This is by prior arrangement. The Stables
Our first barn conversion was completed in 2002. The accommodation is extremely spacious.
It's large open plan lounge and dining area can easily accommodate four people plus a travel cot. With its beamed ceilings and wooden floors, the lounge includes TV Video Radio and CD Player.
The spacious fully fitted kitchen has an electric cooker and gas hob, fridge freezer, micro wave, toaster, washing machine and tumble dryer. You will find everything needed in a kitchen here for your convience.
A twin bedroom and bathroom comprising of bath with hand held shower,pedestal basin and toilet can be found on the ground floor.
Complete ground floor living makes the cottage ideal for those with mobility problems.
On the first floor you will find the large master bedroom, with large fitted wardrobe and en suite with shower, basin and toilet.
The cottage is tastefully furnished and well equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The Barn
The barn was completed in 2006. This cottage has beeen designed to make a comfortable stay for anyone holidaying, but espically for those with mobility problems, as it has been awarded an M1 and M2 grading by Quality in Tourism.
On the ground floor it has an open plan kitchen and lounge. With it's leather sofa's you can watch TV, DVD, listen to the CD/radio or just enjoy the view through the patio doors.
The fully fitted kitchen comprises of electric cooker, gas hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and washer/dryer.
There is also a twin bedroom on the ground floor. As well as a large wet room, with shower, pedestal basin and toilet. Handrails and a shower seat have been fitted to assist those who need help.
On the first floor you will find a second lounge providing great views across the Fleet lagoon and Chesil beach.
A spacious double bedroom with en-suite.
The en-suite comprise of a large corner bath, pedestal basin and toilet. Tariff
Prices range from £290 - £750 per week depending on what time of the season you wish to stay and the number of people in your party.
A returnable deposit is also payable.
