Thermae Bath Spa

...indulge yourself in Britains only natural thermal spa

A place to relax and forget the pressures of the world and to wash away the stress of every day life, Thermae Bath Spa offers various baths and packages to suit all needs.

Natural thermal spa waters enjoyed by the Celts, Romans, Saxons, and Georgians and now presented in welcoming and beautiful surroundings for you to enjoy.

There are 3 hot springs that rise in the centre of the city, Cross Spring, Hetling Spring and Kings Spring. The waters contain over 42 minerals, with the largest concentration being sulphate, calcium and chloride. Over a million litres of water flow from these springs each day.

There are various baths from which to choose with spa packages to suit all needs.

Choose from:

  • New Royal Bath which includes both the Minerva Bath and the open air rooftop pool. The Minerva bath is the largest of the thermal baths and includes a massage jet, whirlpool and lazy river. The open air rooftop pool offers stunning views of the city and surrounding area with air seats and neck massage jets. There are also aroma steamrooms infused with essential oils and a waterfall shower along with the Springs cafe and restaurant for meals and snacks.
  •
  • Cross Bath is an intimate open air pool with its own changing area. It offers more extensive facilities than the New Royal Bath and from the oval pool you can watch the natural thermal waters cascading over a specially commissioned poolside fountain. A chance to experience Bath natural spring waters in a very special setting.

There is a Thermae Bath Spa shop opposite the Spa itself offering a stylish and exclusive selection of gifts and products or visit the Spa visitor centre to discover the role the Spa has played throughout the social and cultural history of the city.
