Refurbished by new owners, this traditional country pub isn't a typical tourist trap or sightseers spot, it's a local pub at the heart of the village community. So if you fancy a bite to eat, a drop to drink or a place to rest, you'll find a welcoming atmosphere at the Village Pub.
The food also puts most country pubs in the shade, featuring reworked classic English dishes with creative and tasty touches.
Accommodation. The six newly refurbished bedrooms, varying in size and style and with their own separate entrance from the pub, are decorated with a contemporary country finish with traditional features of exposed beams and the odd four poster bed. All have beautiful en-suite bathrooms.

Lunch is served: Monday to Friday, 12 noon to 2.30pm, Saturday and Sunday: 12 noon to 3pm.
Dinner is served: Monday to Saturday 6pm to 9.30pm, Sunday: 6pm to 9pm.
