More Information
“The Stable” is situated in the village of Parwich, behind “The Old Post Office” (where we live), and over looks a large garden and fields. On the ground floor there is the large super king bedroom, hallway with utility (washing machine and dryer), modern wet room bathroom, all with under floor heating.

Upstairs is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, and large living room over looking the garden.

The building although recently converted retains the character and charm of the original stable, for example the bedroom actually features the original manger, flag stone and cobbled floor. Upstairs has oak floors throughout and retains the original barn perlins and stone work on the walls.

From Parwich there are several short or long walks, for example a walk to the beautiful village of Tissington where you can stop in the tea rooms for lunch or afternoon tea. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Keddleston Hall, Bakewell and Buxton are all within a half an hours drive from Parwich. Parwich itself has a village pub serving food at lunch and dinner, a shop (in the pub), a park and bus stop.
