The Russell Arms Butlers Cross
The Russell Arms at Butlers Cross near Wendover in Bucks is overlooked by Combe Hill, one of the highest points in the Chilterns.
Welcome to The Russell Arms at Butlers Cross, lying at the foot of the Chilterns and overlooked by Combe Hill, one of the highest points in the Chilterns, a mile or so from Chequers, the Prime Ministers official country residence. The Russell Arms, named after the Russells who were the family that once owned Chequers, has been transformed by the new owners, Lee and Neil, into a quality country pub with dining.
Newly refurbished, the pub now offers a great selection of real ales, wines, real coffee and quality dining in the beautifully furnished dining areas which overlook the lovely garden. Sandwiches are also available if you are after a lighter meal. There is a patio area and an attractive garden for al fresco eating and drinking.
