The Royal Standard of England at Forty Green near Beaconsfield in Bucks is one of the oldest freehouses in England. Step into a pub brimming with over 900 years of history, with ancient wooden beams and worn flagstone floors. Soak up the atmosphere as you sup a pint of local ale in front of a roaring open fire in a tucked away corner. 

You can also enjoy a hearty meal choosing from an extensive menu. The food is lovingly perpared and served in generous portions, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, such as sausages from nearby Penn or snails from Aylesbury!

The Royal standard also have their own micro brewery producing Britannia Pale and Gold ales.
