This new oriental restaurant is owned by retired Captain QGO Asbahadur Gurung who served in the British Army with the brigade of Gurkhas for 28 years. He has since successfully run hotels and catering businesses in Hong Kong, Kathmandu and the UK for some 22 years.

Managed by Jennie, Gurkha offers a range of dishes from Thailand, China, Nepal, Malaysia, India, Singapore and indeed the UK. All of these are available as buffet, A La Carte or take-away. All food is of fresh produce and cooked to the highest standard.

The A La Carte menu also has a takeaway service and if you spend over £20 you get 2 small bottles of Gurkha beer Free. If you spend over £30 you get a Free bottle of house wine.

The Buffet is exceptional value. There is so much choice and for a single price you can help yourself to as much as you want from a range of 20 to 30 dishes. There is a selection of sauces, soups and salads.

They also serve English food. On Sundays you can have as much as you like English carvery buffet. Also between the hours of 8.00 until 11.00am they serve the good old English breakfast.

Gurkha caters for large parties, children's parties and events such as anniversaries. Outside catering can be arranged. Disabled facilities are available as is Free car parking.
