The Fox Inn, Lower Oddington, a 16th Century Cotswolds inn and restaurant with lovely en-suite rooms.
The Fox is a Virginia creeper clad, Cotswold stone Inn, with flagstone floors, beams and open fireplaces, the perfect setting for either a romantic meal, a family gathering or maybe a relaxing break away in the Cotswolds. During the summer months you can enjoy the pretty, enclosed garden and the covered and heated terraced area, perfect for al fresco dining.
The owners Ian MacKenzie and James Cathcart, together with the team at The Fox, are committed to offering a warm, efficient and friendly service combined with good food, wines and well kept beers all at reasonable prices.
There are three en-suite rooms to choose from.
The Garden Room. The largest of the three rooms, the Garden Room is simply a delight with a gorgeous Louis XV bed and stunning antique furnishings. This room has its own bathroom and shower en suite. Tariff: £95.00 per night including continental breakfast.
The Heythrop Room. Situated in the oldest part of the Inn, dating back to the 16th Century, the Heythrop Room, named after the local hunt, has its own unique style designed in local tweed. This room has an en suite shower room. Tariff: £85.00 per night including continental breakfast.
The Courtyard Room. A cottage style room full of character with an impressive mahogany antique double bed and separate, private shower room. Tariff: £75.00 per night including continental breakfast.
Dining. The Fox offers excellent food from seasonal menus, which include modern and traditional classics, complimented by a large range of fine wines and a good selection of real ales. .. We have 50-60 excellent wines, from around the world, to compliment you meal. The menu changes daily to include specials such as the traditional Sunday Roast.
