The Derwentwater Arms Calver
An introduction to The Derwentwater Arms Calver
The Derwentwater Arms is set high up in the old stone village of Calver, a small hamlet in the Hope Valley, Peak District National Park. This is a pub for the village community, providing quality cask ales, fine wines and freshly prepared meals. The dining area has a warm atmosphere with views over the village cricket pitch and along the valley to Stoney Middleton and Eyam.
The Derwentwater Arms has been under new ownership since June 2014. Now run by local couple Tom and Kat Keogh, this fine village pub serves quality local ales and delicous home-cooked food, sourced locally with some produce even grown on-site. The pub, located in the Hope Valley hamlet of Calver, boasts views over the village cricket pitch and free Wi-Fi.
