The Coach House at Thorford Hall Farm is a delightful farm conversion in a tranquil setting on a sixteen acre farm, approached via a long drive. It is situated close to the farmhouse which was built in 1610, and beyond are fields and paddocks and a prize-winning herd of small Dexter cattle.
The accommodation has lovely views, overlooking the garden and farmland, and there is a patio for guests' use, planted with attractive flowers and shrubs.
The far-reaching views across the farm, where we breed Dexter cows. The Lusty herd is a pedigree herd of Dexter cattle which was established in 1985 and has won many prizes. Visitors are welcome to be shown around and are given the opportunity to learn more about the breed.
This location provides an ideal centre for walking and cycling, and many well-known places of interest are within easy reach by car. The village of Staplehurst is only five minutes drive away; facilities include shops, banks and a post office, as well as pubs, restaurants and takeaway service. The local 12th century church has many interesting features to visit. From the railway station London is just one hour away.

The conversion has been carried out to a high standard and is immaculately maintained. The quality furnishings include many extras.
Entrance is via the hall to an attractive living room with comfortable seating, colour TV plus DVD player and video, sofa bed and a folding dining table for four.
The modern fitted kitchen is fully equipped and includes a breakfast bar with stools for three, split level oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge and small freezer box and automatic washing machine. Use of a tumble drier is also available. The charming double bedroom has large built-in wardrobes, bedside lamps and a fully tiled en suite bathroom with hand held shower, WC, wash basin, heated towel rail and shaver point.
Diana Lusty personally supervises the preparation for each new visitor arriving. A welcome pack is supplied plus many extras not usually included with a self catering unit to make your stay with us memorable and enjoyable!
