Sundon Hills Country Park and Sharpenhoe Clappers Luton Bedfordshire

Sundon Hills Country Park and Sharpenhoe Clappers near Luton in Bedfordshire are protected areas of countryside, part of the Chilterns AONB, an ancient woodland and chalk escarpment.



The area is made up of the Sundon Hills Country Park, Moleskin and Markham Hills, Sharpenhoe Clappers and Smithcombe Hills.

Both the Chiltern Way and Icknield Way Trail footpaths traverse the park and surrounding hills and there are superb views from the highest points. Sundon Hills has a lovely picnic area, which is located immediately adjacent to the car park.

Easily accessible from the M1 at Junction 12 and from the A6 just to the north of Luton at Streatley.
