Southport Flower Show
Southport Flower Show is renowned for its spectacular designer gardens.
Southport Flower Show will take place from the 20th to 23rd August 2009.
Every year, an array of gardens are built at the show for the thousands of visitors to view.
The magnificent Grand Floral Marquee houses hundreds of beautiful displays by professional exhibitors from all over the country. All exhibitors have the chance to win prestigious trophies and cash.
Now established as the country's largest independent Flower Show, it is unpretentious and continues to focus on the family market with plenty of attractions for children,including Sonny & Rainbow, the Millerbeck Light Railway and Falconry & Dog Displays.
Set in the 34 acre Victoria Park, visitors can expect to see spectacular show gardens, water features and 1 million beautiful blooms. It's the ideal opportunity to chat to gardening celebrities, browse the arts & crafts and sample the best produce in the fine foods marquee, with cookery demonstrations by celebrity chefs.
Celebrity guests visiting this year include Professor Stefan Buczacki, Diarmuid Gavin, Professor David Bellamy, Roddy Llewellyn and Paul Crone.

Getting to Southport Flower Show
From the South, take the M6 to exit 26, the M58 will take you to Ormskirk and then take the A570 to Southport.
From the North, follow the A59 from Preston, exit 31 if coming from the M6, and then follow the A565 to Southport.
There is ample parking.
Regular trains, buses and coaches run from Liverpool, Wigan and Manchester.
