Whether you want to stroll for an hour or stride out for a week, you’ll find what you’re looking for here. There are even some easy-going sections of the Path that can be enjoyed by people with limited mobility, wheelchairs or pushchairs.

Always make sure you are suitably equipped both for your walk and for changing weather conditions. For your own safety, keep to the Coast Path and do not walk up to the cliff edge.

Occasionally cliff falls or landslips mean that sections of the South West Coast Path have to be closed. Temporary diversions that can occasionally be quite lengthy are put into place. When you are following the Path on the ground these changes will be clearly signed and should always be followed.
