RHS Garden Rosemoor
RHS Garden Rosemoor - a jewel nestling within a wooded Devon valley. Stroll around 65 acres of enchanting garden.
If you are looking for inspiration and a relaxing day out, come to RHS Garden Rosemoor and stroll around our enchanting 65 acre garden. Rosemoor is a garden of intoxicating beauty, meticulously crafted and planted, retaining the essence of rural North Devon within a dramatic backdrop of steep wooded valley sides. Whatever the season, the exciting colours, scents and textures mean that all your senses will be stimulated, and with both formal and informal gardens - as well as woodland walks, water features and open spaces - there is something for children and adults alike to enjoy time and again.
Set deep in the lovely North Devon countryside, Rosemoor is an enchanting garden to visit at any time of the year.
Lady Anne Berry gifted Rosemoor to the RHS in 1988 and since then, the original eight acres have been greatly developed into 65 acres of gardens and woodland, all reflecting the history of the site and the characteristic style of many West Country gardens. So as you relax at Lady Anne's original Garden, take a leisurely stroll around the beautiful Stream and Lake, gain fantastic ideas from the Fruit and Veg Garden or wander through the stylish formal gardens, you are guaranteed to feel inspired and entertained all day long.
In addition to the vast range of plants originally collected by Lady Anne, the RHS has added features such as the Formal Garden, extensive herbaceous borders, Herb and Cottage Gardens, a Potager, a Fruit and Vegetable Garden, two beautiful Rose Gardens, a Foliage and Plantsman's Garden, as well as a superb Winter Garden, extensive stream and lakeside plantings and an Alpine House.
