Admiralty Gate and the New Road Garden flat are spacious three bedroom apartments, each recently renovated with all home comforts (including wireless broadband), in character buildings and excellent locations. Admiralty Gate forms part of the periphery to the Historic Dockyard in Chatham and is closer to the Chatham Maritime, Dickens Centre, Dockside Outlet Centre etc. The New Road Garden flat is within easy walking distance of historic Rochester with Norman Castle and Cathedral. Both apartments are within 5 minutes walk of paths along the River Medway.
Each apartment is a perfect base for exploring the many wonderful attractions in Medway (Chatham Maritime, historic Rochester etc) and Kent and also for excursions to London - only a 45 minute train ride away. There is off-street parking and the M2/M25 is quick and easy to get to. There are 4 railway stations within 10 minutes and both apartments are on well-serviced bus routes.
Rochester - New Road Garden Flat
The garden flat is perfect for small groups or families of 3 generations etc. there are 3 toilets, 2 bathrooms and a separate lounge. Out the back, with views of the River Medway, Rochester Castle and Cathedral, is a large decked area leading to a beautifully paved, landscaped garden - perfect for enjoying a glass of wine at the end of a hectic day or a safe place for children to play. Opposite is parkland with 2 good children's play parks and tennis courts.
Recently renovated, it is clean, light and spacious with central heating. The fully equipped fitted kitchen includes full size fridge/freezer, microwave, electric cooker and gas hob. There is also a washer/drier. The lounge has TV and digibox. The family bathroom has a new suite and a great shower over the bath. There is a second toilet. If you bring your laptop you are welcome to use the wireless broadband signal.
There are 3 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 single are in the main flat. The third bedroom, with single bed, is in the 'nanny flat' which has its own shower and toilet as well as microwave, fridge, freezer and TV. The entrance to the nanny flat is through the main flat.
Duvets, bed linen and towels are provided. Travel cot and high chair are available on request. Pets are not allowed and neither is smoking. Please let us know if you have any special requests or if we can help make your stay better.
The New Road Garden Flat (including nanny flat) is available for £500.00 per week.
Short breaks are £85.00 per night with a minimum stay of 3 nights.
Chatham - Admiralty Gate Flat
Admiralty Gate is an historic building on the periphery of the Historic Dockyard, Chatham. The three storey building has intercom access and the flat, no. 11, is on the first floor and there is no lift.
Recently renovated it is clean, light and spacious with central heating. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 double rooms (one with a double bed and one with twin beds) and 1 single room. The double rooms are large and can easily fit a travel cot and/or fold-out bed if you have little ones you would like in the same room. The bathroom has a modern fit-out including glass tiled walk-in multi-jet shower.
The fully equipped fitted kitchen open-plan living-room includes underbench fridge and freezer, built-in microwave, electric cooker and gas hob. There is also a TV with digibox, a wireless broadband connection for your unlimited use. The adjoining utility has airing cupboard, washing machine and drier.
Large picture sash windows at the back look onto the walled garden, the Historic Dockyard and the River Medway. You are welcome to use the garden, it is big and good for play or a bit of sun bathing.
