Riverhill Himalayan Gardens
Have a great family day out in the most imaginative garden to visit in Kent. Learn about the plants brought back from the Himalayas, build dens together, discover secret pathways and incredible views and perhaps even spot the elusive Yeti!
We believe that a great recipe for a memorable family day out involves adventure and exploration. We want families and garden lovers to spend time together, exploring Riverhill and discovering a taste of the Himalayas.
Discover over 10 acres of gardens with rare specimen trees, towering rhododendrons and azaleas, bluebell walks, carpets of primroses and magnificent views across the Weald of Kent. The Walled Kitchen Garden and Rose Walk are currently being restored (planned opening Spring 2012).
Weddings & Parties
Riverhill is a unique private venue for your special event. The combination of beautiful gardens, fantastic views and our fabulous Garden Room, mean that we have a range of different options for you to consider. Let our experienced team help you plan the very best celebration possible.
The Riverhill Cafe
Build up an appetite whilst exploring the gardens and then call in for a delicious light-lunch or tea in our newly-refurbished café, offering a range homemade and locally-sourced food and drink. Seasonal produce is used wherever possible.
For children we now offer our 'Yeti Feast Bags' - a personalised lunch bag full of yummy food but without any 'junk'. Who could resist the chocolate toes on our exclusive Yeti Foot biscuits? Rest assured that everything in the bag is either organic, homemade or locally sourced. At Riverhill we believe that everyone should be served high quality yummy food........ Nothing is too good for our younger visitors.
Opening Times and Prices
Please check for times and prices before visiting.
Only assistance dogs are permitted within Riverhill Himalayan Gardens. As we cannot be sure that a shady parking space will be available when you visit, we would ask you to leave your dog at home.
The Gardens and Woodland are on the side of a hill and some of the paths are steep and uneven. We recommend you wear flat shoes/boots with appropriate grip that you wouldn't mind getting a bit muddy.
