Pendle View Fishery

Pendle View Fishery is set in the heart of the Ribble Valley in Lancashire and is recognized as the North West’s Premier day ticket venue for Carp fishing.

Pendle View Fishery lies in picturesque countryside near to the A59 at Barrow between Preston and Clitheroe. The fishery consists of three lakes, a tackle shop, cafe, eating area, shower block and luxury fishing lodges.

The lakes are stocked with Carp, Tench, Bream, Roach, Perch, Eels, and there is a trout lake too, stocked regularly with Rainbow Trout, there are also Brownies and some exotic varieties too.
This year the main lake will be stocked with Big Pike and it is hoped that these natural predators will help the ecosystem of the lake by providing a natural balance to the fish stocks. Anglers will be able to fish for pike after October 2010.

The Main Lake is fed by steams from the surrounding hills and varies in depth from the shallows to 14 feet at the centre. The lake is home to some of the largest Carp, Bream and Roach to be found north of Birmingham. The largest carp caught to date being 43lb 1oz.

Pleasure / Match Lake is ideal for angling club matches and is well stocked with Roach, Perch, Carp and Tench.

Fly Lake is home to five different species of Trout – Rainbow, Blue, Brown, Tiger and Golden from 1lb
