Composed of a delightful collection of converted cottages and a farmhouse, Parkergate is the ideal base for exploring the area. The cottages have a long history dating back to the 18th century - the main house itself was built in 1767 and is a Grade II Listed Building. Surrounded by fields of sheep and cattle as well as some much-loved nesting ospreys, Parkergate provides the perfect nature packed experience of the Lake District. Parkergate is in an ideal location for exploring all the Lakes, the Solway Coast, the historic border city of Carlisle and even Hadrian's Roman Wall. It benefits from one of the best locations in the whole of Cumbria for enjoying the spectacular Lakeland sunsets over the North West fells.
Arrival and departure dates are Mondays and Fridays, with the option of 3-night weekend stays, 4-night mid-week stays and full week breaks.
