Located on the South-Western edge of the Peak District National Park, the Roaches Holiday Cottages are two cosy farmhouse cottages with open-plan farmhouse living, featuring stone walls and original beams. There are breathtaking views – 300m above sea level – over much of the Cheshire Plain and, on a clear day, stretching as far as Snowdon in Wales.

Smithy Cottage - sleeps 6
A cosy cottage featuring stone walls and original beams. Well equipped farmhouse kitchen, sitting room with colour television with freesat channels, video and DVD player. Small reading area which leads to the staircase.
This cottage has a bathroom comprising bath, hand basin, wc and shaving point, a double bedroom (featuring a four poster bed)
On the ground floor there is a bedroom with adult sized bunk beds. This cottage will sleep a total of 6 people.
The Coach House - sleeps 6
Open plan farmhouse kitchen with comfy sofas, colour television with freesat channels, video and DVD player. Ground floor twin bedroom with wc, shower, hand basin and shaving point. The open stairway leads to the second twin bedroom with hand basin and shaving point and also a pretty double bedroom with original beams, hand basin and shaving point. The feature of this room is the 'Minstrel gallery' overlooking the sitting room and large arched window. The bathroom consists of bath, overhead shower, hand basin and wc. This cottage will sleep a total of 6 people.

Whilst Alton Towers is just 30 minutes' drive away, The Roaches and Tittesworth reservoir are on the doorstep.
Some of these attractions include both the Churnet Valley and Foxfield Railways, The Potteries with its Bone China Factory Tours and Outlets including Royal Doulton, Aynsley, Spode and Wedgwood.
The Spa town of Buxton, Carsington Water, and the beautiful valleys of both Dovedale and the Manifold are also close by. Alternatively you may just like to relax in a tranquil setting within this hidden gem of a county.
