The nearby Durdle Door, a large rock formation likened to a doorway, arising from the sea, is a must visit attraction; a popular beach offering snorkelling and cliff walks. A lazy trip along the coast will take you to Swanage to the East and Weymouth to the West. Days can be filled with activities such as a boat ride along the Coast, walking along the World Heritage Status coastline searching for fossils or exploring the many geological and historical sites nearby.
