Oakman Inns - hotels, pubs, bars and restaurants in Herts, Beds, Bucks, South Oxfordshire and Warwickshire.

Oakman Inns are an expanding collection of bars, restaurants and hotels offering quality food, accommodation and service in beautiful modern surroundings.

The Kings Arms Hotel, bar and restaurant, Berkhamsted, a former 18th-century coaching house now with a modern, airy restaurant and busy bar. Watch your food being prepared and cooked in our open kitchen, gather around our enormous open fire with friends and your favourite tipple, or escape with a coffee on our tucked-away terrace. If you feel like stopping over, get cosy in one of our boutique hotel rooms, which, like our private function room, are inspired by the life and works of local author Graham Greene.

The Penny Farthing Hotel, Berkhamsted. Whether you're here for business or leisure, you're sure of a good night's sleep at The Penny Farthing Hotel. Not only thanks to our super-comfy beds in stylishly appointed rooms, but also because we're set back from Berkhamsted's high street. So you can drift off in peace, happy in the knowledge your car is tucked away in our private car park.

The Crown and Thistle Hotel, bar and restaurant Abingdon. Abingdon is situated on the banks of the River Thames, just to the west of the Chilterns and south of Oxford and the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, enjoying the best of both worlds. Our boutique hotel rooms, cosy pub and stylish restaurant are made up of 3 individual buildings, clustered around a listed cobbled courtyard framed by a stunning 200-year-old wisteria. We think you'll agree: it makes for an atmospheric backdrop for anything from a drink with friends to a full-on social event.

The Akeman bar and restaurant, Tring. The very first bar and restaurant opened by Oakman Inns. The Akeman, in the heart of Tring, is a stylish, modern interpretation of an original Public House… a warm and friendly meeting place, serving great food and drink all day to local people, businesses, families and visitors.

The Red Lion bar and restaurant, Water End near Hemel Hempstead. The Red Lion at Water End is a modern interpretation of an original Public House... a warm and friendly meeting place, serving great food and drink all day to local people, businesses, families and visitors. The Red Lion combines comfort, atmosphere and style and showcases Oakman Inns & Restaurants' signature open kitchen and airy and contemporary restaurant.

The Old Post Office bar and restaurant, Wallingford. Sitting near the Thames, this old post office has been lovingly restored to combine comfort, atmosphere and style. A traditional bar area with intimate seating merges into a light, contemporary restaurant with a courtyard garden.

The Akeman Inn, bar and restaurant, Kingswood. The Akeman Inn bar and restaurant at Kingswood in Bucks midway between Aylesbury and Bicester. Enjoy a drink or two in the comfort of our bar, or put your feet up in our coffee lounge. There's also plenty to love about our modern restaurant, but what seems to capture most of our guests' attention is the wood-fired pizza oven wafting temptingly as you sit down to dinner.

The Beech House bar and restaurant, Beaconsfield is situated in the heart of Beaconsfield New Town; a stylish bar, restaurant and cafe. Featuring comfortable leather sofas, open fires and intimate seating areas, The Beech House bar area is perfect for relaxing coffee mornings, business meetings, or social catch-ups.

The Beech House bar and restaurant, St Albans. With its buzzing atmosphere and welcoming lounge, bar and restaurant, The Beech House is a modern meeting place at the heart of St Albans.

The Navigation bar and restaurant, Cosgrove. The Navigation is aptly named, as we sit on the banks of the Grand Union Canal right on the border of Bucks and Northamptonshire. The garden is a lovely spot to enjoy a few drinks, as you admire our huge old willow tree. Or why not indulge in some alfresco dining on our deck, which overlooks the canal and surrounding countryside?

The White Hart bar and restaurant, Ampthill. Whether you're joining us for breakfast, lunch or dinner, you'll always find good, freshly prepared food on your plate at The White Hart in Ampthill. At the heart of the kitchen, our specialist Josper grill cooks steak, fish and other dishes to charcoal-fired perfection; while our daily specials mean there's always something new to discover.

Oakman Inns in the Cotswolds.

The Blue Boar Hotel, bar and restaurant, Witney. (see link below) Formerly known as the Marlborough Hotel, The Blue Boar has been totally refurbished and transformed into one of the most stylish bars and restaurants in Witney. The Blue Boar now offers 20 boutique style bedrooms and an elegant function room, ideal for small weddings parties and receptions.
