A yurt is a portable, felt-covered, wood lattice-framed dwelling structure traditionally used by nomads in the steppes of Central Asia. A yurt is, as you can see by the picture to the right, more home-like in shape and build, with thicker walls than that of a tent. They are popular amongst nomads.
Yurt Holidays offer a taste of nomadic life, living in the round and being close to nature is an unforgettable experience.
Our Mongolian style Yurts are made by a local craftsman out of natural materials to best suit the British climate, keeping the space cool in the summer with added luxury of wood burning stoves making your Yurt Lovely and cosy on those cold evenings as summer closes.
