Minchinhampton Golf Club
Three truly outstanding tests of golf set high on the rolling Cotswolds, just outside Minchinhampton in south Gloucestershire, where the glorious scenery complements the quality of the golf experience.
Both sites have their own Clubhouses offering a warm welcome and excellent catering. At the New Course there are exceptional practice facilities including a covered driving range, short game area, practice putting green and state of the art teaching and performance centres.
All three of the Minchinhampton courses lie on Cotswold Brash (limestone) and as such are very free draining, offering a good test all year round. The Cherington course has hosted Open Championship Regional Qualifying and both the Avening and Cherington courses have hosted National Championships and regularly host matches and championships for the GGU and the GLCGA. Both these courses are set three miles away from the Old Course and have their own clubhouse, all are within the auspices of Minchinhampton Golf Club.
Minchinhampton Old Course is situated some three miles from the town of Stroud. The Club is set on Minchinhampton Common, an unspoiled area of outstanding natural beauty, close to the picturesque village of Amberley and the small market town of Minchinhampton.
Visitors will find a warm welcome, the finest practice facilities set high on the Cotswolds and within easy reach of the motorway network, tourist attractions and stunning scenery.
