Mill House Hotel and Restaurant at Kingham near Chipping Norton in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds is privately owned and has conference facilities for up to 50 delegates. Also a lovely Cotswolds wedding venue set in 10 acres of beautifully kept grounds.
The Mill House was originally a water-powered flour mill, dating back to the 11th Century, and was recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086 - the flagstones in the hotel reception are the last surviving features of the original Mill. A tributary of the River Evenlode runs through the grounds.
Accommodation: Each of the 23 bedrooms is styled to complement the heritage of the building whilst offering every modern comfort.
The Restaurant: With three different dining areas to choose from you’ll be spoilt for choice when deciding where to dine. The Mill Brook Restaurant offers an outstanding a la carte menu created by Head Chef Matt Dare. For those of you looking for a lighter lunch, you will be delighted with the two course menu which can be enjoyed in the Mill Stream Bar. Light snacks and cream teas can be enjoyed in the Cotswold Lounge or, on days that weather permits, on the terrace overlooking the Cornwell Brook trout stream.
