The Old Stables is an ideal base for walking, cycling, a relaxing break or sightseeing, with many local attractions to keep you occupied. There is direct access to a bridleway and The Old Stables is within easy access of The Ridgeway National Trail and the Thames Path. Situated opposite The Thames, the cottage is in a tranquil rural setting being well set back from the main Reading to Oxford road on the outskirts of the villages of Goring and Streatley on the Oxfordshire border.
The cottage is highly insulated and incorporates renewable technologies including under floor heating, a heat recovery system, an air source heat pump, and an exhaust air heat pump, all of which provide an extremely comfortable living environment. The cottage is suitable for people with limited mobility.
Accommodation consists of:
Triple Bedroom 1. 5' King Size Bed and 4' Sofa Bed, Triple Bedroom 2. 2 x 3' Single Beds and 1 x 3' pull out guest bed, Double Bedroom 3 (on Ground Floor) with 5' King Size Bed. En-suite wet room with walk in shower with stool, WC.
Lounge: 1 x 3'6" sofa bed. Seating for 8. TV, Blu-ray DVD player, study area including FREE WIFI.
Family Bathroom: Bath with shower over, WC. Another separate WC.
A superbly equipped kitchen/dining room with fridge, freezer, double electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and filter coffee machine. There is a separate laundry room/cycle store with washing machine, clothes horse, iron & ironing board.
Private rear garden with table, chairs for eight, sun umbrella & barbecue.
There are ample car parking spaces with additional off road parking.
