Nestled between the stunning mountain scenery of the Rhinogs and the golden sandy beaches of the Cambrian Coast, the cottage is not only in an ideal location for exploring Snowdonia with it's excellent road and rail links but is also within walking distance of local village amenities, beaches, woods and hills. Many activities can be enjoyed in the area including walking, fishing, golf, water sports and bird watching together with numerous tourist attractions, fairs and galas taking place throughout the year.

Hwylfa Groes is over 250 years old built in 1754 and has been fully modernised with a brand new bathroom and kitchen for 2014 whilst retaining the charm of an 18th Century Cottage. The cottage is on one level with exposed stone walls, a large inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove and original bread oven, slate floors throughout, timber framed double glazed windows and a stone built conservatory with it's own woodburner and dining area providing a pleasant setting overlooking the lower garden .

All rooms have been comfortably furnished providing a warm and homely feel. There are two bedrooms sleeping up to 3 people; 1 double room and 1 single room. Included in the price is electricity, bed linen (beds made up ready for you on arrival), bath, hand and tea towels, complimentary kitchen provisions, bathroom toiletries, a basket of wood for each of the 2 woodburners and a welcome basket on arrival including a bottle of wine for all guests.
