Tucked away on the far South-Western corner of the Welsh coast, Hurst House on the Marsh is an unexpected haven of luxury, a unique Grade II listed 18 bedroom hotel and spa dedicated to fine food, rest and relaxation.
Originally a 16th century dairy farm, the hotel's main house and restaurant overlooks acres of marshland and an organic kitchen garden, while a large courtyard is enclosed by beautifully renovated outhouses containing sumptuous bedrooms and a bijou spa.
Elegant bedrooms are individually designed with luxury and relaxation in mind. An eclectic mix of antique furniture fuses with high tech comforts, including media centres and Roberts radios, while large bathrooms equipped with REN products and huge Frette linened beds provide indulgent pampering.
The main house is home to a spacious penthouse and three further suites, while the outhouses enclosing the courtyard contain a mixture of suites and mezzanine rooms. The Cottage adjoins the old dairy and incorporates a bedroom, bathroom and living room with wood burning stove, set over two floors.
The hotel's restaurant overlooks a large working kitchen garden, the fruits of which feature extensively on our seasonal menus. Glass fronted and punctuated by olive trees, it's a convivial space for both intimate suppers and hearty Sunday lunches.
Overseen by consultant chef Martin Blunos, who has two Michelin stars under his belt, the kitchen produces creative and comforting dishes from traditional slow roasted Welsh lamb to poached eggs with smoked salmon, hollandaise sauce and toasted soda bread.
Developed in conjunction with luxe brand Elemental Herbology, our bijou spa combines holistic treatments from pampering massages to tailor-made three-day luxury programmes, complemented by beauty and grooming menus. A pool, spa bath, gym, three treatment rooms and a tranquil relaxation space combine to soothe body and mind within the rustic charm of our candle-filled haven.
