The Area
Set in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, surrounded by rocky bays and sandy beaches and within easy reach of the many castles and historic buildings for which the county in renowned.

This outstandingly beautiful coast can be explored from the Coastal Path, 168 miles long, which stretches from Amroth, east of Tenby, through Milford Haven, around the Dale Peninsular, along the whole of St. Brides coast to St David's and as far as the outskirts of Cardigan to the North.

The most westerly tip of the peninsular reaches out into the Atlantic, to the bird sanctuary islands of Grassholm, Skokholm and Skomer. The island of Skomer can be visited by regular sea trips from Martins Haven. To the south and within a few miles of Hasguard Cross, is Milford Haven, Britain's largest natural harbour, with its fine sailing waters and the modern marinas at Neyland and Milford Haven. To the east, contrasting with the beautiful coastline and seaways, are the Preseli Mountains which rise to their highest point at Foel Cerwyn 1760 feet above sea level. At the easterly end is the reputed source of the 'Bluestones' which were transported to Stonehenge around 2,250 B.C. Beyond St Bride's Bay, to the North, is Wales' most important religious centre, the village City of St. David's with its unique cathedral. In this area it will be found that Welsh for a large part is the everyday language.

How to find us
On entering Haverfordwest from the A40, at the first roundabout take the road to Dale, over the river and up the steep hill on the on-way-system, bearing right at the top, shortly to fork left following the Dale sighpost. Fork left again at the "Bellevue Inn" onto the B4327 for Dale. After seven miles you reach Hasguard Crossroads. Turn right for Little Haven. The Hasguard Cross Caravan Park is 200 yards, the first entrance on the right.

Resident proprietors David and Kaye James look forward to welcoming you.
