The Village and Location
The accomodation is situated in the village of Beddgelert in the Snowdonia National Park, and is ideally located for exploring Snowdonia and the whole of North Wales.
Beddgelert is the jewel in the crown of Snowdonia and takes it's name from the legend about the tragic death of the dog 'Gelert' and his grave is a short walk down the river from the village centre.
This unspoilt village has many eateries and pubs along with a diverse range of shops. Ideal for finding the perfect gift for the neighbour who is feeding the cat while you are enjoying this peaceful part of the country.
Beddgelert is an ideal base for exploring Snowdonia. A wander down the river will take you along Aberglaslyn Pass with it's white water. The Welsh Highland Railway now passes through the village and adds a cretain charm.
It certainly is a place to be enjoyed all year round. Once you have visited, you are sure to return again and again!
