In this area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is the home of Wendy and her husband Lee, who is a woodcarver.
Lying in the Blackmore Vale, this former farmhouse sits in a secluded hollow off the beaten track, but within easy reach of many of the attractions of Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire.
It is also prime walking country and lies adjacent to the North Dorset Cycleway.
The house has been extensively refurbished and offers plenty of parking (some under cover). There are two guest bedrooms, an ensuite double/twin and a double/twin with private bathroom.
Prices start at £37.50 per person per night.
The two light filled bedrooms both have super king sized beds and large bathrooms. Accessed via their own staircase and located at either end of a generous and bright landing, allowing for much privacy and a quiet night in this peaceful and secluded rural spot.
Guests also have plenty of living space to make themselves comfortable. They have their own snug with TV, radio, books and games. Then the adjacent conservatory where breakfast is served from April to October. During the winter months breakfast is taken in the farmhouse kitchens with its open fire. There are also two acres of garden to enjoy with numerous places to sit, it is tranquillity itself.
