Harlech Glan Gors is a self catering ground floor apartment in a quiet location in lower Harlech with views of the hills above Harlech of Harlech castle Glan Gors sleeps up to 5 in 3 comfortable bedrooms

Ideal for families and couples the ground floor property sleeps up to five people. Comprising of three comfortable  bedrooms, a spacious lounge area and well equipped kitchen, it is ideal for the self catering visitor. As well as being a holiday let, Glan Gors is our own holiday home which we use regularly and as such we have tried to make it a home from home. There is free parking in a private car park. We are sorry, but due to previous bad experiences we do not take bookings from young single sex groups who do not wish to maintain the quiet environment and respect the property and neighbours. This is definitely not a suitable venue for hen or stag parties.

Glan Gors Self Catering Apartment is within walking distance of a selection of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Just a short stroll away is Harlech beach, ideal for families with children. Along the coast there are several other large sandy beaches. The popular Royal St David's golf course is about a five minute walk away. The area is excellent for walkers, both for gentle strolling and for more serious mountain climbing, either in the heart of Snowdonia or on the Rhinogydd a few miles behind Harlech. For those wanting to tour and looking for a bit of history why not visit some of the beautiful castles in the area including the nearby Harlech Castle. In the warmer months why noy enjoy sitting out in the gardens and admire the spectacular views of the hills above Harlech.

Our ground floor apartment provides easy access ideal for those who are less mobile. Comprising of three bedrooms (1 king, 1 double & 1 single). Lounge/dining area has plenty of comfortable seating, freeview television, DVD & video player. There is a small selection of videos, DVDs, books, cards, & various board games for you to enjoy. The fully equipped kitchen includes electric cooker, microwave, fridge & washing machine. We provide bedding, towels & tea towels. If you prefer to bring your own bedding & towels we will deduct 10% from the rental price. Electricity is included in the cost of the rental.

We are happy to take a well behaved adult dog so long as the owners bring its own bed & don't allow it onto chairs or beds.

Ideally please contact us by email or on our home phone. If you don't get a same day reply, please contact us on the mobile number - especially if you are seeking a late booking- as we may be at Glan Gors and can't check the email as often there as at home. The mobile is always switched on when we are away from home for more than an hour or so but if we are in a no-signal area, please leave a message and we will get back to you ASAP.

BY CAR. From the north take the A496 from Maentwrog & take a right turn (still the A496) after you go through the village of Talsarnau.  As you enter lower Harlech the Morfa garage (Texaco) is on the left hand side of the road and immediately opposite this is the right turn into Glan Gors estate.
From the south via Barmouth:  go north on the A496 & about 2 miles after passing through Llanbedr follow the road downhill , past Royal St David’s golf course on your left & then over the railway crossing. The Morfa garage is on your right hand side & you turn left into the estate opposite this garage.
Turn into the car park on the left that has a large tree by its entrance & park there. In the far corner of the car park there is a path heading in the direction of the school playing field fence. This leads to number 36, which is the ground floor property nearest to the fence.
Harlech is on the Cambrian coast line, with some direct connections from Birmingham. Go onto the main road, cross & turn to the right. Glan Gors estate is about 5 minutes walk, just past the school field & the property can be reached by walking along the path which is a left turn immediately after the school field. 
Buses (38) from Barmouth stop at the front of the estate. There is an express bus (X94) that runs from Wrexham to Barmouth.
