Fyfield Manor makes an ideal base for visiting National Trust properties such as Waddesden Manor, Greys Court, Basildon Park (where Pride and Prejudice was filmed) Claydon House and Clivedon and the filming locations of the TV series Midsomer Murders, at Dorchester, Wallingford, Ewelme, Warborough and many other local spots.
Bed and Breakfast accommodation: There are three bedroom suites. One has all the original 18th century panelling and is furnished accordingly. The second suite is Victorian in style with an original brass bed, and third is the old 18th century nursery with high-beamed ceiling and rustic charm. Full English breakfast of local and organic produce is served in the stunning medieval dining room which is said to be the oldest domestic building in Oxfordshire and dating back to 1140.
Self catering accommodation: The Cloisters offers stylish modern two bedroom self-catering accommodation ideal for longer stays. There are 2 double bedrooms accommodating up to 4 people. The main bathroom has a bath and fitted shower. The second is a walk in wet room. Breakfast is available - guests are welcome to join us in the medieval dining room for a full English breakfast. This is charged at £10.00 per head.
