The Flambards Experience
An Introduction to The Flambards Experience
Wherever you are in Cornwall, The Flambards Experience in Helston is only an hour away. Flambards is much more than a theme park and boasts live family entertainment, exhibitions, rides and an indoor venue. Take a look at The Flambards Experience.
“Best day of the week come rain or shine” That is the Motto of The Flambards Experience. This theme park has some of the most interesting exhibitions not only in Cornwall, but probably the whole of the UK. As well as exhibitions, the park has plenty of rides, activities and entertainment.
The main season commences in April each year, but Flambards is open throughout the year apart from January when it is closed. Check here for opening times
, especially the February Half-Term details.
So, what do you get for your money? Childrens Rides include, The Human Cannonball Merry go Round
or the Childrens Eye Big Wheel
for the little ones. There are other small rides to test out or if the adults want to relax with a cup of tea or coffee then let the little ones have fun in the Indoor Play areas of the Cool Zone
and Tots Zone
For the brave members of the family there are the Thrill rides. How about The Extreme Force
ride, that rotates in a vertical arc. The established Hornet Rollercoaster
has graced Flambards for many years and then there is the Canyon River Log Flume
But there is much more to Flambards than just the rides. The Hands On Experience
explores the basics of Physics and Science, The Garden Aviary
has a wonderful collection of birds and if Let’s Stay Cornwall can personally recommend the Exhibitions as the highlight of any visit.
Britain in the Blitz
is an experience and moving reminder of life in war torn Britain. The Victorian Village Experience
takes you back in time again to the Victorian Streets of old England. You will see the famous Chemists Shop
, hidden for over 70 years and transported to Flambards exactly as it was found and finally the Memory Lane Experience
includes wonderful Wedding Dresses throughout the ages, or walk inside the Concorde and see the achievements of pilots and aircraft since 1902.
In the main season there is live music and entertainment culminating in the end of season Spectacular Firework Display, there is so much more to Flambards, “the best day of the week” ...............
