Over 30 walks in this inaugural event.
Encompassing the very best of the Fal River, the walks will encounter historical points of interest, meander along coast paths, pass through areas of outstanding natural beauty and world heritage sites.
Walking in this part of Cornwall is one of life’s great joys. There is unrivalled variation in the walks on offer, from the tranquillity of woodland glades to the high drama of rugged cliff tops, however there are two things that remain constant through all the walks: preparation and safety.
Our top tips are designed to ensure you have the best possible walking experience and we recommend following them before you embark on any of the walks, particularly our self-guided ones.

Falmouth History Walk
Scratch beneath the surface and Falmouth’s history is rich with surprising stories and even more surprising characters. Come along on this entertaining walk through town and hear the thrilling tale of infamous pirate Lady Killigrew, grimace at the grisly fate of Captain Thomas Dudley, marvel at the audacity of businessman, John Burton, and learn what Lord Byron saw when he strolled the streets in 1809.
Twice everyday throughout the Festival starting at 11am and 2pm.

1 mile / 1.6km. Easy.
START TIME & DURATION
Starting at 11am and 2pm from the Beach Hut in Events Square, Falmouth and lasting 1.5 hours.
