Elmswell is just off the main route through Suffolk. Due to the position, it is an ideal location for exploring and travelling throughout East Anglia. In total, we offer 4 bedrooms.
Elmswell Hall is a grade II 16th century manor house. Situated on the edge of the village of Elmswell, spectacular views of the open countryside can be seen. Due to the position, it is an ideal location for exploring and travelling throughout East Anglia.
All rooms are furnished and decorated to a high standard with their own colour television and tea/coffee making facilities. The main house has a double and twin en-suite bedroom while the new coach house offers two twin rooms, each with an en-suite bath/shower room and adjoining door if required for families.
Guests can make use of our well-kept garden. Children are welcome and all rooms are centrally heated throughout. The rooms are no smoking. No pets please.
Taxis/Transport can be arranged.
A maximum of 8 guests have the use of an elegant private dining room where they can sit and eat next to an open inglenook fireplace. For those who want to get out and explore this beautiful part of Suffolk, there is a local dining list recommended including places such as The Lepaing Hare, The Gardeners Arms and The Old Counting House.
Elmswell Hall is 1 mile from the A14. At the A1088 junction on the A14 (Woolpit/Elmswell) follow signs to Elmswell. Elmswell Church is on your left. Immediately after the Church turn left into School Road. Take the first turning to the left, after 150 yards take railway underpass and turn right - follow gravel drive up to the house.
