Lot's to see and do!
From the house there is easy access to Kinder Scout and the Pennine Way (from the door), Mam Tor and Castleton. We are close to Ladybower Reservoir and the Derwent Dams (cycle hire available at Derwent and Hope). Walk over Mam Tor to Castleton!

Buxton with its Opera House (20 mins away by car) is famous for its annual Music Festival and Gilbert & Sullivan Festival.

This is a good walking area with many footpaths radiating out from Edale and from other local towns and villages. Excellent opportunities for mountain biking, rock-climbing, pot-holing and hang-gliding as well as visiting the famous caverns at Castleton.
