The Dunster Castle Hotel prides itself on it’s Exmoor food menu, using locally sourced Somerset Pork, Red Ruby Devon Beef and Exmoor Lamb. All meat comes from locally sourced butchers.
When the Dunster Castle Hotel came up for sale the new owners were determined to bring the old building back to its former glory. They have now successfully transformed the old building into a high quality hotel with an elegant restaurant serving the finest food, whilst still catering for the locals with a Cellar Bar offering good bar food and above all friendly service.

The Dunster Castle Hotel building dates back to about 1750 and was once the home of the Luttrel family and various managers who worked on the estate.
The Dunster Castle Hotel lies at the foot of the medieval, cobbled High Street and Dunster Castle with the medieval Yarn Market at the top of the road. You can walk directly from the Hotel to Dunster Castle and the Gardens, the ancient Dunster Water Mill and Gallox Bridge.
