Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms. Brook Cottage is Grade II listed and was built in 1720 originally for local lead workers. The cottage retains much charm and character whilst providing comfortable accommodation and modern facilities for up to four guests. Period features include stone mullioned windows, large gritstone fireplaces, exposed beams and floorboards. There is also a wood burning stove.

Brook Cottage is set over three floors and offers the following accommodation:
A generous sized lounge with large gritstone fireplace and woodburning stove, a well equipped kitchen/dining room, a useful boot/storage room and a cloakroom.
A large twin bedroom with mahogany beds and original feature fireplace.
A double bedroom with wrought iron bed and original feature fireplace and a family bathroom with three-piece suite.
There is a steeply terraced garden with far reaching views from the top and which backs onto open woodland with walks. There is a limestone patio area on the first terrace, just a few steps up from the kitchen.
Gas central heating throughout with hot water on demand from a combination boiler.

Brook Cottage is situated in the historic and fascinating village of Cromford, now part of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site. Cromford is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Derbyshire Dales and the Peak District National Park. The village lies at the foot of the High Peak Trail.
