These beautiful Cotswold cottages all date from the early eighteenth century and have many lovely period features such as mullioned windows, oak beams, tiny doorways and spiral stairs. When you arrive, you will find the beds - which can unzip and suit either couples or singles - made up with freshly laundered bedlinen.  A fluffy bath sheet and hand towel is provided for each guest plus bath mats and teatowels.  In winter, the heating will have been left on the day before you arrive so the house will be cosy and warm.  All three cottages have central heating but there are plenty of logs left for your use.  There is nothing quite like a real fire! All our cottages are dog friendly

The cottages are self-catering so you need to bring your own food and provisions. Generous fridges and good cupboard space should swallow up your supplies and the dishwashers will cope with the washing up. Pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and glassware are plentiful.

The Cottages:

Blandfords Cottage: has 4 bedrooms sleeping up to 12.
Good Housekeeping magazine chose Blandfords for their Christmas shoot in 2000 and called it 'the perfect country cottage'. A delightful bolthole, perfect for relaxing and a terrific base for touring the Cotswolds and the Heart of England.

The Old Mill: has 8 bedrooms sleeping up to 19.
The Old Mill is a fantastic puzzle of a house that combines period charm with modern comfort.  Set at the heart of the quiet village of Oakridge Lynch in the South Cotswolds, this is the perfect venue for celebrations and reunions.

The Old Mill and Blandfords are next to each other in Oakridge Lynch.  They can be taken together for large parties of around 28.

The Snuggeryhas 1 bedroom sleeping up to 3.
The Snuggery is a sweet little, self-contained, one bedroomed flat in a lovely position overlooking a beautiful wooded valley, sleeping 2 or 3 people. The Snuggery has a double bedroom, a bathroom with bath and shower, and an open plan kitchen with a dining area.  The focal point of the cosy living room is the wood burning stove.
Don't feel like cooking? Entertain without the hassle! Have a 3 course meal, prepared by our chef who comes with help to lay the table, serve and clear away.

All our cottages are wonderful places for gatherings but none more so than The Old Mill, Oakridge Lynch.  The tumbledown old barn that was at the side of the house has been rebuilt as a spacious double height dining room with an attractive gallery above.  You can lay up the tables for a formal dinner or push them back for dancing. The room comfortably seats 28 but - at a push - can take 32 sitting down.  The adjacent kitchen is very well equipped for large scale catering.  But if you don't want the hassle of cooking yourself, why not have our chef come in and cook for you?  Then you can relax and enjoy the party.

How long can you stay?  We specialise in weekend breaks and our standard weekend runs from Friday after 3pm to Monday at 10am.  Changeover days are both Monday and Friday so, if you want a week or a fortnight, you can chose either day to begin your holiday on.
