B&B near Dover with two self contained bedrooms. Family friendly and dog friendly.
Colret House is Edwardian, built in 1902 on the Downs between Dover (4 miles) and Canterbury (10 miles), in the village of Coldred. The House overlooks the village green and has extensive, well tended gardens. In 1997, we erected two self-contained double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms adjacent to the house. Each has its own front door and key.
Each room has central heating, smoke alarm, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, TV, radio and alarm clock. Cots and high chairs, trouser press, ironing and drying facilities are readily available.
We welcome children and you may bring dogs by arrangement.
There is ample secure parking.
Colret House is ideally situated for that useful, and in many cases essential, overnight stay for those travelling to or from the Continent either by ferry via Dover or on the shuttle through the tunnel.
We are signatories to the Dover District Council voluntary tourism code of practice.
Also we are certified holders under the "Welcoming Walkers and Cyclists" charter, organised by the South East England Tourist Board.
By arrangement, we will meet walkers/cyclists at Bus/Train Stations within the area.
We will also transport luggage etc. to their next destination.Rates
