Clitheroe Golf Club

Introduction

Clitheroe Golf Club lies in the beautiful Ribble Valley. It has been improved and extended over the years and now offers a full 18 holes.

The club was formed in 1891 and moved to its present site just south of Clitheroe in 1932. The course measures 6504 yards from the blue tees and with effect from 2010 will be a regional qualifying venue for the Open Championship.



Visitors are welcome and groups of up to and including 8 players can book online. For larger groups please contact the Secretary’s Office on 01200 422292 to discuss their requirements.

Handicaps
Non – Members and visiting societies are more than welcome to play at Clitheroe Golf Club. Whilst a handicap certificate is not required, all players must show a reasonable level of competence as the course is not suitable for novices or beginners.
