Chatsworth Farm Shop began life in 1977 in a 20 sq ft converted tack room opened by the then Duchess of Devonshire as a means of selling meat and dairy from the estate's farms to the public.
More than 30 years on, over 60% of sales still come from goods produced on the estate, and almost everything else is sourced from within the British Isles.
Specialising in the best of local and regional food, Chatsworth farm shop offers quality produce fresh from the estate, tenant farms, Derbyshire suppliers and small food producers.
Our traditional butchers will guide you through the vast array of meat, poultry and game. Delicious home-cooked meats and pies are available from the delicatessen counter, and our bakery provides wonderful fresh bread and cakes.
Offering fresh home-cooked food in a beautiful space, the farm shop restaurant is the perfect place to unwind. Our chefs create delicious seasonal recipes using as much local produce from the farm shop as possible. Most of the food served in the restaurant can also be purchased from the farm shop.
Good food begins with our suppliers. The skill and knowledge of our trusted producers shines through in their food. We know that a great deal of care and attention goes into the food that they produce, which ensures that we have great tasting products on our shelves.
