Buxton and High Peak Golf Club
...beware of the wind!
Buxton and High Peak Golf Club is generally recognised as the oldest club in Derbyshire.
It is a most interesting and unique course, not particularly hard physically but very affected by wind direction. The 9th fairway runs on what was a race course in the 1700s. The clubhouse is cosy and the catering facility first class. Buxton and High Peak Golf Club is a very friendly club to visit.
We offer a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for that post-golf chat. Drown your sorrows or celebrate your success with a drink from our extensive range or try a pint of traditional cask bitter. You may also like to try something tasty from our bar snack menu or specials board.
The Clubhouse can be booked for that special occasion: christenings, birthdays, anniversaries, and weddings. We have a range of buffet and dinner menus on offer or we can tailor something to your individual needs, all at very reasonable prices. Special diets can be catered for.
The dining room can be booked for your company meetings or seminars. This room is totally private and can accommodate 20 persons in meeting style or 30 in theatre style. A range of audio-visual aids can be supplied to suit your individual needs. We also offer a range of refreshments from coffee & biscuits to a 3-course meal. There is ample on site car parking.
The fully stocked golf shop boasts Callaway, Ecco, Nike, Footjoy, Proquip, Ping, Galvin Green and much more. We also carry an extensive ladies section and left-handed section. Peace of mind purchasing from the Buxton & HighPeak golf shop is ensured by visiting our professional's extensive website, www.golfsupport.co.uk.
