The Borderlands region is the area of North Wales bordering England, which covers an area from Chirk and Llangollen in the south, to Denbigh and Flint in the north. It's largest town is Wrexham in the east.

Within an hours drive from the north west of England and the Midlands, not only are the Borderlands easily accessible for many, but steeped in history, culture and fantastic days out !

For those who love the outdoors, the Clwydian Range is at the heart of the borderlands. It comprises of hills and moorland and is a haven for rare species of wildlife.

The Vale of Clwyd is boasts historic towns such as Ruthin, Rhuddlan, Denbigh and  St Asaph and Rhuddlan, set between the picturesque valleys formed by the Clwydian Hills.

Llangollen on the delightful river Dee with it's stomach churning Horseshoe Pass, can probably boast the prettiest section of canal throughout England & Wales - plus the Llangollen Canal is also one of the most exciting. There's no other place in the country where you can sail across an aqueduct hundreds of feet above the valley.

With such a wide range of activities and events, the Borderlands region has something for everyone.
