Bisham Abbey was once home to Henry VIII and Elizabeth I and offers the uniqueness of time and history as well as modern facilities for a variety of visitors. It is located close to London and major transport links, and sits on the borders of Berkshire and Buckinghamshire in stunning grounds on the banks of the River Thames.
Convenient access to the M4, M40. Rail links from London to High Wycombe and Maidenhead (15mins away). Marlow town centre a short walk away for local shops, bars and restaurants. Bisham Abbey is also ideally located for nearby Henley, and just a 20 minute drive from Windsor Castle and Lego Land.
Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Work on our new accommodation is now complete, providing Bisham Abbey with 50 twin en-suite rooms (convertible to doubles) for visitors to the area. Each new bedroom includes a television and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. A selection of rooms are specially adapted for disabled guests. Wireless internet access is also available for all resident guests and use of the gym is free during your stay.

Set amongst picturesque grounds on the banks of the River Thames, Bisham Abbey caters for any type of wedding, from small, intimate gatherings to larger marquee weddings in the beautiful gardens of the Abbey. A traditional bridal suite is also located in the Abbey, complete with four-poster bed and en-suite bathroom. Four other high quality bedrooms for the bridal party are also located in this part of the Abbey.
