Bingham Grange is a quiet, peaceful park developed within the grounds of a former country farm. The setting is idyllic with olde-worlde barns and cottages full of charm and history. Located within West Dorset's area of outstanding natural beauty, and being only 5 miles from the World Heritage Jurassic Coast we offer an ideal base to 'set up camp' and live amidst the breathtaking scenery for which this part of Britain is internationally renowned.
We cater exclusively for adults and provide a quiet haven for those wishing to get away from it all and experience a taste of what life was like in the 'Rural Dorset' of yesteryear. The Caravan Park
The park caters for Touring Caravans, Tents, Motorhomes and Trailer-tents. There is a choice of grass or hardstanding pitches, all with electric hook-up at 10 amps. We have an ever increasing number of fully serviced pitches which offer electric hook-up, water and waste. All sizes of caravan and motorhome can be accommodated. Many of the pitches enjoy direct views over the glorious West Dorset countryside that surrounds us.
As an alternative, our 'Valley-View' meadow offers a spacious environment for those wishing to camp without services. The touring and camping park occupies only a small part of Bingham Grange, the remainder of which is open countryside and woodland and is available for you to explore! Buzzards Bar
Located on the top floor of the honey stone former hay barn (which dates from the early 1800's) is Bingham's very own cosy Lounge Bar and Restaurant complete with original exposed beams and interesting vaulted ceilings and often featuring stunning views of sunsets over the Brit Valley! This is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day exploring the area. You will of course find a wide selection of delicious main meals, skillfully created by our talented resident chef, but, whatever you do, don't go home without trying one of his beautifully hand crafted desserts as well!
Although we insist on buying much of our fresh produce locally you will be surprised at the excellent value for money on offer.
We believe you will struggle to find finer food anywhere nearby! You can even have it 'Takeaway' if you so desire. Facilities
We're very proud to have been given a number of awards including a 'Loo of the Year' title every year for more than 6 years. Our 5 star private facilities are heated and offer individual private shower rooms complete with w.c. and wash hand basin, alongside traditional separate ladies and gents showers and toilets, complemented by a disabled shower /w.c room.
Our Laundry room offers washing and drying machines and a kitchenette complete with washing up facilities, microwave and a freezer for ice packs.
A pay phone and a Tourist Information area are provided for the convenience of our visitors.
We operate a (limited) gas bottle exchange/refill service (depending on brand). Pets Welcome
Dogs are welcome to enjoy the park's own woodland dog walk and even have a paddle in the River Brit located on the edge of our land. Beyond the woodland walk is access to a network of public footpaths each leading to picturesque villages or the small market town of Bridport with traditional shops, cafes and twice weekly street markets (Wednesdays and Saturdays) for curios as well as domestic essentials.
Such memorable walks are not only to be enjoyed by dogs and their owners, but indeed any visitor to the park each with the thrilling chance of catching a glimpse of deer, buzzards, badgers, foxes and other wildlife, all of which are spotted regularly within the parkland.
Our Dog Walking Area is entirely unique with its astonishing views and direct access to the network of Public Footpaths.
On the edge of the park, through the woodland flows the River Brit, ideal if your dog likes a cooling swim! Directions
