Located in a 15th century building in the heart of old Amersham. It is a hidden gem with a collection spanning 2,000 years of local history. 


Entrance costs £2 for adults, accompanied under 16s are free. A small charge is made for children’s craft activities.

Museum opening hours

  • Every Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holiday Monday afternoon 2.00 – 4.30 pm from 5th March to 30th October at 49 High Street, Amersham.
  • From May to September we are also open every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon 2.00 – 4.30 pm.
